Privacy Policy

Future Self (“the app,” “we,” “us”) helps you track meals, weight, and body metrics and renders a motivational visualization of your future physique. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account email. Used to authenticate you and sync your data across devices.
- Food and meal logs. The foods, portions, calories, and macros you record.
- Weight and body metrics. Height, weight, age, sex, body-fat estimate, goals, and activity level used to compute your targets.
- Photos. A baseline photo you choose, used to render your future-self visualization, and meal photos you submit for food recognition.
- Subscription status. Whether you hold an active paid (Pro) plan, so we can unlock paid features.
How your data is stored
Your data is stored in our database (Supabase) and transmitted encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data requires your authenticated account.
Third-party processors
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store your card details.
- OpenAI and Google Gemini — AI image generation for your future-self render and vision analysis of food and baseline photos.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
On-device Precision Mode
The optional Precision Mode body-measurement photos are processed on your device. Those measurement photos are not uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using the Delete Account control in the app (Account screen). Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Children
Future Self is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17.
